LIVE

Modern and the fastest photographical news service.

WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?

The LIVE service is a modern photographical news service, which offers summarizing visual and textual information from a race or a stage. The images are displayed on a web site with an average delay of 5 minutes from their taking i.e. from the actual event. LIVE reportage is a great supplement to a television broadcast or it can even substitute the broadcast. The costs are (in comparison with a TV broadcast) minimal and the reportage can bring another commercial benefits as advertisement can be inserted.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The photographer on a motorcycle right after taking the image and basic selection sends selected images to a special server (available via internet). Therefore, the editor who publishes the images doesn’t have to be present at the race venue.

HOW DO THE IMAGES GET ON THE WEB?

The graphic designer downloads the images from the server, makes basic adjustments and exports the images to a cloud storage. At this moment, the images are ready to be published. 100 – 150 images are processed during a race/stage (depending on the progress of the event and the activity of the riders).

GREATEST ADVANTAGES OF LIVE PHOTOGRAPHICAL REPORTAGES

  • minimal costs (in comparison with standard photographer or TV broadcast)
  • the images are well suited for press reports during or right after the race/stage (the size of the image is up to 2600 x 1700 pixels, which corresponds with a print of 21 x 14 cm at 300 dpi)
  • an advertisement can be inserted into the reportage
  • proved CANON technology is used (no, we don’t take the pictures with a mobile phone)
